500g caster sugar

200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, for garnish

Directions
For the Cordial: Put the listed ingredients into a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, stirring to dissolve. Next, remove from the burner and leave to cool fully. Transfer into an sealable bottle, cap it keeping it in the refrigerator, it will last for about four weeks.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Combine all the spirits and syrup into a large bottle, let it rest for 60 minutes, then filter it best through cheesecloth, so it's fully clarified.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml from the cocktail base into your stirring glass packed with ice, and stir carefully for about 60 seconds until cold. Filter into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, decorate with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a light spray of the essential oil over the top.
